JG Kelly Supplies Ltd was founded in July 1989 by Gerard Kelly, with modest transport of a Volkswagen Pick-up and the benevolent help of a friend, who offered the loan of a storage facility. With progressive expansion on the Irish market, the company needed new premises and in December of 1989 the Mall Road in Monaghan became the headquarters of J G Kelly Supplies Ltd.
Through intensive communications with general merchants and installers, the core of the business being developed at this time was in uPVC fascia and soffit systems, and the west of Ireland was the main market for these systems.
In 1991 Cellular and Aluminium rainwater products were added to the hollow soffit and fascia range, and in the same year J G Kelly Supplies went into Partnership with the French plastic conglomerate, Grosfillex, to market and distribute their uPVC wall panelling in Ireland.
January 1994 saw the opening of the Dublin Warehouse, which is located in the Western Industrial Estate on the Naas Road, and this depot offers the installer a convenient and better service in the Greater Dublin area.
By 1997 J G Kelly was supplying customers in all thirty- two counties of Ireland and had extended the range of products to include the prestigious Regency Rainwater systems and the Toffolo Expansion Joint/Screed for cost effective forming for concrete slabs and industrial floors.
Due to extensive demands for the company’s products, a new 5,000 sq.ft warehouse was acquired at Ballysimon Road, Limerick, in October 2000, which would boost the service to customers in the Munster Region.
The company’s Philosophy is to use the highest quality materials and offer the best possible service to customers at all times, constantly improving the existing product range and always looking for new and innovative ideas, which will make life easier for the builder and enhance the property for the home-owner.
